Uttarakhand / Dehradun: The house caught fire due to a lamp, all the belongings were burnt to ashes, children got scared after seeing the accident, they were in bad condition after crying.
A house caught fire from a lamp in ward number eight of Athurwala, a displaced area in Jolly Grant. Within no time the fire engulfed the entire house. After this the fire was controlled with the help of the landlord and local people.
After receiving the information, police and fire brigade also reached the spot. Councilor Sandeep Negi said that Dhoom Singh Bisht’s house is in his ward. In which Kiran Devi wife Surendra Rana lives on rent. Due to fire from a lamp kept in the house, all the stuff kept in the bedroom got burnt.
The items kept in the kitchen also suffered a lot of damage. Kiran Devi told that she had taken a house on rent just a few days ago. TV, fridge, furniture, cupboard and all the kitchen items were burnt to ashes in the fire. After which he and his children were in tears. Kiran Devi’s husband Surendra Rana works outside the hotel line.
