Now the rules of registry have changed in UP. Now people can register in any tehsil. This decision of the Yogi government will give relief to those people who had to wait for the registry. Earlier, there was a long wait for property registry in many places in UP, but now the public will get relief from this. CM Yogi has taken this decision during a meeting recently. Under the first phase, this system has been started in 18 mandals. After this, gradually this system will be implemented in the entire state.

Earlier, the Yogi government had made another major change by holding a meeting with the Registry and Stamp Department. There has also been a big change regarding the registry of property of relatives. The government has drastically reduced the staff duty. Under this, parents, husband, wife, daughter, son, son-in-law, sister, brother, daughter-in-law will be able to come.

How much fee

Earlier, where a hefty fee was charged to get the property of a member of the household registered, now the government has fixed it. According to the new rule, people can get registered by paying 5 thousand stamp duty and one thousand rupees as processing fee.

What was the law before

Prior to this change, stamp duty had to be paid on the registry of the property of relatives according to the circle rate. Which was different according to each circle rate. For example, property worth 25 lakhs attracts stamp duty above 2 lakhs. Which will now be in only 6 thousand.
