In the UNIFORM CIVIL CODE, the expert committee in Uttarakhand has received more than 1000 suggestions so far, review will start from today

So far, more than 1000 suggestions have been received by the expert committee to prepare the draft of Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand. These suggestions have been sent through email and web portal. Now the committee will study these suggestions and select important suggestions from them. The members of the committee are very excited by the suggestions being received in such a large number. Let us inform that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced to implement Uniform Civil Code in the state. To prepare its draft, an expert committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai (Seni) to examine and implement the Uniform Civil Code. The committee held several rounds of meetings to study various laws, codes related to citizens and then launched a web portal for receiving public suggestions in the past.

Apart from this, suggestions were also invited through the committee email. The committee has sought suggestions by October 7. Till Tuesday, the committee had received more than 1000 suggestions through web portal and email. The committee has also started the process of shortlisting important and important suggestions from the suggestions received. Along with the suggestions received, the committee members will now select the important suggestions.
