Uttar Pradesh : Contractor was stealing cables by calling 12 laborers from Andhra Pradesh, when the police reached, they absconded, 3 workers arrested

Criminals adopt new methods for theft and cheating. One such case has been caught of theft. In which his cable was being stolen in the manner of Ajay Devgan starrer film Singham. Police have arrested three accused in this case. At the same time, the police is looking for the contractor of the laborers called for theft from Andhra Pradesh. In the Bollywood film Singham, the villain Jayakant Sikre used to call people from other states and get them to commit crimes. At the same time, when the police caught him, he could not understand his language. Which benefited the conspirators. Using the same idea of the film, 12 laborers from Andhra Pradesh were being called to steal BSNL’s copper cable.
On receiving the information, the police has arrested three laborers of Andhra Pradesh. The arrested accused do not know any language other than Telugu language. The police sought help from an officer who knew the Telugu language to interrogate the accused. After this the police came to know the whole story from the workers. According to the police, BSNL officials informed them that some people posing as contractors suddenly start digging on the road. After this, they are stealing by cutting their precious cables. When asked to Majdure, they do not understand Hindi or English language. Because of which he is not listening to anything. Just doing your job.
On Thursday night, the accused were digging near the school on Kotwali police station area Parker Road. Here the thick cable of the Department of Telecommunications is buried under the ground. Under Engineer Pramod Kumar of Telecom Department tried to stop them but, he was not ready to listen anything. After which the Kotwali police was informed. As soon as the police arrived, the accused started running away. During this three accused were arrested from the spot. When the accused were questioned, they were answering in their own language. After this, the police got an officer who knew the Telugu language to talk to the accused. After which it came to know that he was called by a contractor to do the work. At his behest, he was doing excavation work. The accused had come from Andhra Pradesh on September 20 from Moradabad railway station.
The contract for digging was given to 12 laborers. Nine people fled the spot after the police arrived. Police has started searching for the accused contractor. The names and addresses of the arrested thieves are being verified by the Andhra Pradesh Police. Kotwali police station in-charge Ravindra Pratap Singh said that three laborers of Andhra Pradesh have been arrested for stealing BSNL cable. An FIR is being lodged against the accused and sent to jail. Police is busy in search of their kingpin contractor.
