In the death case of 31-year-old Santu Chakraborty, her mother Mamta Chakraborty had lodged an FIR against Nirsa’s constable Avinash Pandey and her daughter-in-law Bunushree Chakraborty on Thursday night. Police station in-charge Sunil Singh said that the matter is being investigated. On Thursday night itself, the relatives of the youth staged a massive protest, gheraoing the Chirkunda police station, demanding action in the matter.

Santu Chakraborty was under mental stress for a few days. On Thursday, he committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan’s latch at his Dumarkunda house. In this regard, while registering an FIR at Chirkunda police station, Santu’s mother had said that her daughter-in-law and constable Avinash Pandey posted in Nirsa police station were seen by my son in an objectionable position. When he protested, Pandey and his associates beat him up and threatened to implicate him in a false case. Due to this my son started living under stress. Coming under stress, he committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday.

Santu Chakraborty’s wife used to work as a cook in Nirsa police station. Santu also worked as a cook with his wife. With his wife, he lived in his in-laws’ house at Nirsa Virsinghpur. It is said that when Santu saw his wife having an illicit relationship with the soldier, the soldier threatened him and got him prepared a conciliation letter. After that, near the gate of Nirsa block office, the constable and his associates had assaulted Santu Chakraborty, due to which he was under mental pressure. After this incident, for the last two-four days, Santu started living back in his house in Dumarkunda. On Thursday, he hanged himself in the house by making a noose with a nylon rope.

In this case, the young man’s mother had made a written complaint against constable Avinash Pandey and his daughter-in-law in Chirkunda police station, but the people of Dumarkunda, enraged by not registering an FIR against Santu’s wife Bunushree Chakraborty and constable, gheraoed Chirkunda police station with the dead body. was.
