A video of a patient’s attendant offering Namaz outside the general ward of a government hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh is becoming increasingly viral. Taking cognizance of the matter, the Prayagraj Police investigated and after that issued a statement that the prayer performed by the patient’s kinsman is a worship process and it does not come under the category of any offence. After the video of Namaz offering went viral, the administrative officials of the hospital have said that in this regard the women offering prayers and the hospital staff have been warned not to do so.

At the same time, taking cognizance of the incident, the matter was investigated after the video went viral in several WhatsApp groups of Prayagraj. In this regard, many people said that it is indecent, illegal and illegal for a woman to offer Namaz in public places like hospital wards.
But Prayagraj police denied all allegations in the case saying that the police investigation has made it clear that the woman in the viral video without any malafide intention and without obstructing her work, prayed for the speedy recovery of her patient. was studying It does not fall under the category of any kind of offence. Regarding the incident, Chief Medical Superintendent of Tej Bahadur Sapru Hospital Dr MK Akhouri said, “We have issued a strict warning against such activities in the ward as it is a public place.”
Dr MK Akhouri said that the woman offering Namaz was staying in the ward as an attendant to take care of a patient admitted in the dengue ward. He said, “After her video went viral, we have explained to her that we do not do this in public places and she has agreed.”
