Regarding the incident, Chief Medical Superintendent of Tej Bahadur Sapru Hospital Dr MK Akhouri said, “We have issued a strict warning against such activities in the ward as it is a public place.”

Dr MK Akhouri said that the woman offering Namaz was staying in the ward as an attendant to take care of a patient admitted in the dengue ward. He said, “After her video went viral, we have explained to her that we do not do this in public places and she has agreed.”
