Uttarakhand : There used to be a business of sexism and drugs in the resort, the former employee made many shocking revelations
In Rishikesh’s Vanantra Resort, the business of sex and drugs was also run. Pulkit Arya, the operator of the resort, used to keep bad intentions on the women employees. He also used to beat up the employees. At the same time, on demanding salary, he used to fire the employees by accusing them of theft. The couple, who worked in the resort earlier, have disclosed this.
Husband and wife Vivek and Ishita, residents of Saket in Meerut, had left the Vanantra Resort in Ganga Bhogpur about two months ago. Ishita tells that Pulkit Arya and Ankit alias Pulkit Gupta used to talk very rudely to the employees.
Told that girls were called to the resort. Pulkit Arya and manager Ankit alias Pulkit Gupta used to refuse entry of these girls in the register. He told that these girls were sent to the customers’ rooms. Even special customers were not entered in the register. Vivek told that Pulkit Arya is very angry. He used to beat up the employees. Told that Pulkit Arya had once assaulted him too.
Vivek told that liquor was stocked in the resort without a license. Liquor was sold to the customers at double the price. The customers were supplied with charas, smack ganja, etc. Pulkit Arya did not pay salaries to the employees. When the employees asked him for his salary, he would first beat him up and then fired him alleging theft. Ishita tells that due to the nexus of a patwari and Pulkit Arya, illegal work was being done in the resort. Patwari used to stay in the hotel every day. When Patwari used to come to the resort, some young girls who came to the resort used to stand around him.
Ishita told that Pulkit Arya used to keep a bad eye on the women employees and the guest girls coming to the resort. One day Pulkit asked them to come to his room with food. He was drunk so he refused. Ishita told that an employee working in the resort told that Pulkit says that he likes Ishita very much.
The employees told that Pulkit tells that somehow Ishita and her husband Vivek have to be separated. One day, during the party at the resort, Pulkit started asking her to go to the room. But he refused. Ishita tells that one day a customer went to the resort forgetting his Bluetooth speaker. Being the manager, he kept the speaker with him. She told husband Vivek that when the customer comes back, the speaker will return him. But Pulkit falsely accuses him of theft to put pressure on him.
He had gone to a shop to have tea. Patwari called him to the resort, saying that the matter would be resolved. When he reached the resort, Pulkit Arya and Patwari were sitting together drinking juice. As soon as she and her husband reached the resort, the patwari started threatening them. Due to which he was forced to leave work.
Pulkit Arya was very much afraid of his father Vinod Arya. Ishita told that when Pulkit’s family and especially his father Vinod Arya used to come to the resort, he used to remove the stock of liquor. He also forbade the kitchen staff to make meat and fish. Ishita told that he mostly avoided coming in front of his father. Pulkit Arya’s wife had warned Ishita. Ishita told that Pulkit’s wife was very nice. She even went to his house once. Told that Pulkit’s wife told him that this place is not fit for his work.
