Uttarakhand : Snow mountain slips near Kedarnath

An incident of slipping of snow mountain near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand has come to the fore. It was initially told that the Kedarnath temple has not suffered any damage due to the slipping of the mountain. Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay said that an avalanche occurred in the Himalayan region this morning, but there was no damage to the Kedarnath temple. A video has surfaced of a mountain of snow sliding near the Kedarnath temple. It is seen that the mountain of snow completely collapsed on sight. However, there is no report of any casualty in this incident.

Landslide happened in the last days
Let us inform that the process of rain is continuing in Kedar Ghati. On September 21, there was a landslide on Kedarnath Highway. However, it was fortunate that the vehicles passing by did not come under the debris of the hill. The Chardham Yatra is also being affected due to rain. There was a massive landslide from the hill near Phata on Kedarnath Highway on Wednesday evening. Several tons of debris and boulders fell on the highway from the hill. The drivers of the vehicles stopped seeing the debris falling from the hill. There was some damage to a passenger bus. Traffic was disrupted on Badrinath and Kedarnath highways due to landslides after the rain. Passengers had to be stuck in the jam for hours. Life was disturbed due to incessant rain since the past days.
