Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Mother had come to drop her son going abroad till the road, speeding car crushed both of them, death

Mother and son died after being hit by a speeding car near Chhidarwala on Haridwar-Dehradun road. The mother had come on the road to drop her son on his way abroad. The police have taken the driver of the vehicle into custody.
According to Raiwala police, the incident happened around 5:00 am on Sunday. SHO Raiwala Bhuvan Pujari said that Trilok Singh, a resident of Asha Plot Chhidarwala, lives abroad. He was to go abroad on Sunday morning. His mother Bhavani Devi had come on the main road to drop him.
Doctors declared both dead
Meanwhile, while he was waiting for the vehicle, a speeding car coming from Dehradun side hit the mother and son. Seriously injured Trilok Singh (41 years) son Jaipal Singh, Bhavani Devi (63 years) wife Jaipal Singh, both residents of Asha Plot Chhidarwala were rushed to AIIMS Rishikesh, where doctors declared both dead.
According to the police, Trilok Singh works in Germany. He was on his way back to Germany after spending his vacation. The same car that hit the mother and son was coming from Himachal. Told that the people in the car were going to Haridwar for bone immersion. He said that the car driver Manish Kumar son Prakash resident of Bilaspur police station Shah Talai, District Bilaspur Himachal Pradesh has been taken into custody.
Vehicle collided with a person returning from factory duty, died
