Big accident in Uttarakhand, bus carrying 50 processions fell into a gorge, SDRF teams left

A major accident has happened in Pauri district of Uttarakhand. The bus carrying the procession here fell into a deep gorge. It is being told that there were about 40 people in the bus. After getting information about the accident, the administration and the police team have left for the spot.
Sources say that due to the deepening of the trench, it may be difficult to rescue. It is said that it is difficult to get in touch in the dark of night. According to the information, the accident took place on the Rikhnikhal Bironkhal motorway under Dhumakote police station area of Pauri.
Here the bus carrying the processions fell into the ditch near Simdi village. According to sources, there were about 45-50 people in the bus. The bus was going from Laldhang in Haridwar district to Birkhal village in Pauri. Suddenly the bus became uncontrolled on the way, due to which this accident happened.
This accident has happened about 150 km from Kotdwar and Pauri. It is being told that the ditch is about 500 meters deep. After getting information about the accident, Pauri District Magistrate Vijay Kumar Jogdande, SDM Smita Parmar have left for the spot.
DGP said – so far six people have been evacuated and sent to the hospital
DGP Ashok Kumar said that the bus has fallen into a gorge of 500 meters. So far 6 people have been rescued and sent to the hospital in this accident. Teams of SDRF Kotdwar and Pauri have also left. Apart from this, the police stations within a radius of 40 to 50 km have also been informed. The police there have been asked to reach the spot.
MLA Dilip Singh Rawat has also confirmed the incident. He said that the ditch is very deep. At the same time, regarding this incident, DM Vijay Kumar Jogdande says that the accident is very big. It is very difficult to estimate the deaths and injured in this incident without reaching the spot now.
SDRF teams leave for the spot
It is being told that the accident happened around 8 am. SDRF got information about a procession’s bus falling into a ditch in Timri village, 70 km ahead of Dhumkot. This bus was going from Laldhang Haridwar to Karagaon. There were about 45-50 people in the bus. Rescue teams of SDRF have been dispatched from Srinagar, Kotdwar, Satpuli and Rudrapur on the instructions of General SDRF.
Chief Minister Dhami said – the teams have been dispatched. Pray that everyone should be safe.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is a very sad incident. About 45 people were on the bus. The bus has fallen into a deep gorge. I have spoken to the officials there. I myself am talking to everyone that rescue work should be started as soon as possible.
He said that it is our endeavor to provide all possible help. CM Dhami said that teams have been dispatched to the spot. There, rescue work is also being done by the villagers. I pray to God that everyone stays safe.
