Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced financial assistance to the families of mountaineers who lost their lives due to avalanche in Uttarkashi and bus accident in Pauri district. Dhami has announced financial assistance of ₹ 2 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased, ₹ 1-1 lakh to the seriously injured and ₹ 50-50 thousand to the general injured. After the bus accident in Pauri on Tuesday night, CM Dhami went to the site of the bus accident with MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishanke on Wednesday. He directed the officers of the district administration to provide best facilities to the injured. Let us tell you that 25 passengers died on the spot when a bus full of 40-50 processions fell into a deep gorge.

CM Dhami said that the government is with the affected. He said that all possible help would be given to the injured. Dhami also reached Matli in Uttarkashi. He also inquired about the condition of the injured. It is known that 27 climbers are still missing after an avalanche in Uttarkashi district.
