Sweden scientist Svante Paabo wins Nobel Prize for Medicine

Sweden scientist Svante Paabo has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine. He did extensive research on many issues related to the genome of extinct hominins and human evolution. He has been awarded this Nobel Prize for the same research.

For information, let us tell you that Pabo has worked on the Neanderthal genome for a long time. He has also worked as the director of the Department of Genetics at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. This year he was awarded the Nobel Prize for his amazing contribution.  David Julius and Arden Patamootium were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine last year.

By the way, like every year, this year also, apart from medicine, the Nobel Prize will be given in the field of literature, physics, chemistry.  On one hand, the Nobel Prize in Physics will be announced tomorrow, while on Wednesday, the name of a person will be announced in Chemistry.  Then on Thursday someone in the field of literature will also be awarded the Nobel Prize.  Apart from this, the Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on Friday and the Economics Prize will be given on 10 October.  It is also important to know here that whoever is awarded the Nobel Prize, he is given a gold medal and an amount close to 9 lakh dollars.
