Gold medalist Mansi Negi and athlete Suraj Panwar met Uttarakhand CM, CM extended best wishes

10 km of the 37th National Junior Athletics Championship from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to the Chief Minister’s residence on Tuesday. Mansi Negi, who won gold medal with a national record in race walk, and athlete Suraj Panwar met. The Chief Minister announced an amount of Rs one lakh each to both the athletes. As per the rules and regulations of the sports department, the amount which is given for winning a medal, these two players will also be given that amount. Giving best wishes to both the athletes for the upcoming games, the Chief Minister said that the state government will provide all possible help to such talented sportspersons in future as well. The Chief Minister has wished both the athletes a bright future. Deputy Sports Officer and coach of both these players Anoop Bisht and athlete Manish Bisht were present on the occasion.
