PM said – new history of the country is being written, there has been a change in history

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that India’s history was suppressed. First, the work of increasing the foreign agenda was done deliberately. The history of India is not just the history of slavery. This is the history of warriors. There is a history of showing unprecedented bravery and bravery against the oppressors. We are correcting these mistakes.
PM said- Unfortunately, even after independence, we were taught the same history, which was hatched during the period of slavery. After independence, there was a need to change the agenda of the foreigners who enslaved us, but this did not happen. In every corner of the country, how the brave sons and daughters of Mother India fought the terrorists and dedicated their lives. It was deliberately suppressed.
Modi was speaking at the closing ceremony of the 400th birth anniversary program of Veer Saput Lachit Barphukan of Assam at Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan on Friday. During this, he remembered the contribution of Senapati Lachit and kept his views regarding the history of the country.
PM praised the courage of Senapati Lachit
PM said that I salute the land of Assam, which gave heroes like Lachit. Veer Lachit has shown a lot of courage and bravery in his life. The land of Assam has been its witness. He further said that if someone wants to make us bow down with the help of a sword, wants to change our identity, then we also know how to respond to that.
Senapati Lachit is called Shivaji
Lachit Barphukan was born on 24 November 1622. He was a famous general of the Ahom kingdom. Lachit is also called the Shivaji of the Northeast, because like Shivaji, he defeated the Mughals many times with strategy. Lachit Day is celebrated every year on 24 November in Assam in memory of Lachit who defeated the Mughals.

PM Modi said that the life of Senapati Lachit inspires us to rise above familyism and think about the country. He had said that no relation is bigger than the country.
2. We are correcting the mistakes of the country
The PM said that Lachit’s life inspires us to give priority to the interest of the country rather than personal interests. Regarding history, the mistakes that have happened before. Now the country is improving them.
3. Every young warrior of India in saving culture
The PM said that every youth of India is a warrior when it comes to protecting our cultural heritage from any external force.
Shah said – history should be rewritten
Home Minister Amit Shah has asked historians to rewrite India’s history. He has assured that the government will support their efforts. Shah said that our history was distorted. Now we need to fix it.
