Uttar Pradesh / Barabanki: Attacked with a blade – husband absconded, wife’s nose was cut off, police registered FIR
The brutality of a drunken husband has come to the fore from Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, after a minor argument, the drunken husband cut off his wife’s nose with a blade and fled from the spot. The injured wife reached the police station and gave a complaint letter to the police. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case. The police is now looking for the accused husband. The woman was married in 2019 under the Chief Minister’s Collective Marriage Scheme. After one year of marriage, the drunkard husband used to harass the woman every day. Today he crossed all limits of inhumanity and cut off the woman’s nose. Accused Pradeep was married in 2019 under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme. The woman alleges that after 1 year of marriage, her husband beat her regularly and used to torture her for dowry as well. The police have registered an FIR and are looking for the accused.
Woman harassed for dowry soon after marriage
The whole matter pertains to Hathoudha village of Ramsnehighat Kotwali area of Barabanki district. Pradeep, a resident of this village, was married to a woman from Daryabad Kotwali area of the district in 2019 under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme. It is being told that since one year of marriage, the husband used to torture and beat the woman for dowry. At this time the husband was living in Delhi. After coming from Delhi, the husband reached his wife’s house and was talking about bringing her home. On repeated refusal of his wife, he became very angry and kept fighting with the people present there including his wife.
FIR registered, police in search of absconding husband
The wife alleges that when her husband used to come to my house, he used to fight with equal people and used to beat me repeatedly after taking me to his house. The woman told that during the quarrel, the husband cut my nose with a blade as soon as he got a chance and fled from the spot. The injured wife reached the police station and gave a complaint letter to the police. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case. The police has registered an FIR. Police say that the accused will be arrested as soon as possible and sent to jail. The police is now looking for the accused husband.
