Pawan Hans helicopter service operating here in Dehradun, Haldwani, Almora and Pithoragarh has once again started gaining momentum. People who are planning to come to Uttarakhand to celebrate the new year have already started booking in advance. Haldwani helipad in-charge Saurabh Jha said that Pawan Hans helicopter is a better service for the tourists and expatriates of Almora-Pithoragarh. Heli service is running smoothly on Dehradun, Haldwani, Pantnagar Pithoragarh route on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday under the regional connectivity scheme of the government. On Fridays the service operates to Dehradun, Haldwani, Pantnagar, Almora and Pithoragarh. Along with making the Haldwani helipad state-of-the-art, hangars are also being built to park helicopters here. In the coming time, tourists will get better facilities here.
