Allahabad High Court: Court Jamadar suspended for taking bribe from lawyers by wearing paytm QR code on waist
You must have seen a lot of employees taking tips, but in the Allahabad High Court, a court jamadar started asking for tips in a unique way. Whose photo went viral on social media on seeing it. Court Jamadar was asking for online tips from lawyers by putting Paytm barcode scanner on his waist. After this the court suspended him.
Chief Justice Justice Rajesh Bindal took it seriously after the photo of the court jamadar taking bounty from lawyers through barcode went viral. And ordered action against him. After this he was suspended.
It has been written in the order of suspension that strict action has been taken against Court Jamadar Rajendra Kumar-1 employee number 5098. Bundle Lifter Rajendra Kumar is suspended with immediate effect for using Paytm Wallet in Court premises. During the same suspension period, he will be attached to the Nazarat Section of this Hon’ble Court and will not leave the station without prior approval. This suspension order was given by the Director General of Allahabad High Court, Ashish Garg.
