President honored Lakshya Sen with Arjuna Award, CM Dhami congratulated
Almora’s shuttler Lakshya Sen, who dominated the international scene, was honored with the Arjuna Award 2022 by President Draupadi Murmu today. This year 25 players were selected for the Arjuna Award. Seven coaches were honored with the Dronacharya Award and four players with the Dhyan Chand Award. All were honored in a program organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan. At the same time, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and DGP Ashokar Kumar have congratulated Lakshya Sen on receiving the Arjuna Award.

Players and coaches were honored today in a program organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President honored star shuttlers Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy with the Arjuna Award. Both of them were part of the Indian team that created history by winning the Thomas Cup this year. At the same time, Lakshya won the gold medal in men’s singles at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
