Uttarakhand : Will the whole secret of Ankita Bhandari murder case be revealed? Two accused ready for narco and polygraph test

Two accused in the Ankita Bhandari murder case have given consent for narco and polygraph tests. Whereas, the third accused Ankit has sought ten days’ extension for the test. The court will hear Ankit’s application on December 22.

Government advocate Jitendra Rawat said that the SIT probing the Ankita murder case had applied for narco and polygraph test of the three accused in the court of Judicial Magistrate Bhavna Pandey. In response to the notice sent by the court, the accused Pulkit and Saurabh gave their consent for the test. Whereas, Ankit has asked for ten days time for the test. The tests of all the three accused are to be held simultaneously, so the court has fixed December 22 as the date of hearing.

The SIT wants to conduct a narco test on the accused to know the name of the VIP allegedly involved in the case. It is alleged that pressure was made on Ankita to provide extra service to the alleged VIPs visiting Pulkit’s resort. On her refusal, the accused killed Ankita. The SIT has to file a charge sheet in this case before December 23, but it has now been decided that the SIT will not be able to include the facts obtained from the narco in the first charge sheet.
