Tourists’ wait for snowfall in Uttarakhand may end soon. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain and snowfall after December 27 in Mussoorie as well as in the higher Himalayan regions of the state. Vikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, said that the Western Disturbance has not yet become active in Uttarakhand. This is the reason that the weather that prevails in December every year is not visible this time. At present, Western Disturbance is active in some areas of Jammu-Kashmir and Afghanistan. He expressed the possibility that after December 27, the weather may change from the plains to the mountains of the state. City covered with fog in the morning, temperature dropped
The weather pattern appeared spoiled on Monday. In the morning, a sheet of fog appeared in many places. Due to which chill was felt. In such a situation, people came out of their homes wearing warmer clothes than before.
