Uttar Pradesh: Big decision in view of dense fog, buses will not run from 8 am to 8 am

Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has taken a major decision in view of the dense fog in the state. According to the decision, the operation of roadways buses has been banned from 8 pm to 8 am. Let us tell you that in the last three days, there have been horrific road accidents in many districts of the state. More than a dozen people have died. On Monday itself, 12 vehicles collided simultaneously in Hapur. Buses also collided on the expressway.

These officers will be posted at bus stands
According to news agency ANI, UPSRTC has been told that Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses will not ply from 8 pm to 8 am (or till the fog clears) in view of the foggy conditions in the state. Regional/Assistant Regional Managers will be stationed at bus stations from 8 am to 12 midnight to monitor the fog situation.
Order issued for all the depots of the state
According to the circular issued by the State Transport Corporation, this decision has been taken in view of the accidents due to fog in the state. It has been said by the Roadways Department that the operation of buses has been stopped at night due to fog. This arrangement has been made considering the present. Further decision will be taken keeping in view the weather in the coming days.
Accidents happened in seven districts in a single day
Let us inform that 12 people died in many accidents in the state on Sunday and Monday. While more than 70 people were seriously injured. These accidents took place in Noida, Hapur, Auraiya, Mainpuri, Kanpur Dehat, Kannauj, Unnao and Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Dense fog was the reason behind all the accidents.
