Now LG will be ‘Government’ in Delhi, Central Government issued notification

In the midst of the worsening situation due to Corona infection in Delhi, the Modi government has done the work of Arvind Kejriwal. The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification to implement the GNCTD Act in Delhi. It states that the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Act, 2021 is notified with effect from 27 April. Now in Delhi, the meaning of the government is the Lieutenant Governor.
The notification issued by Govind Mohan, Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, said that the Central Government, using the powers vested in sub-section-2 of section one of the Delhi National Capital Territory Government (Amendment) Act, 2021 (15 of 2021), 27 Implements the provisions of the Act with effect from April 2021.
