Uttar Pradesh / Rampur : Crime Branch and police station Rampur Maniharan police arrested killers of unknown girl
Saharanpur. (RNS) SP City Rajesh Kumar Singh, disclosing the incident in the police line auditorium, told in a press conference that on May 14, an unidentified young man aged about 22 years was found in a canal near Sherpur village in Thana Rampur area . The body had injuries on his head. The body was dumped in the canal for the purpose of hiding the woman by killing her. A lot of effort has been made to identify the dead bodies by the police stations of the district, the police stations of the border districts, daily newspapers, social media, etc. As a result, after about 5 days, the body was identified as a young woman from the Mohalla Punjabi Bagh colony police station, Sadar Bazar. When the woman’s family members were strictly questioned for custody, she confessed her crime and made a sensational revelation about the incident.
The arrested accused Deepak (the elder brother of the deceased) told that his sister was very independent. His trick character was causing a lot of notoriety in the society. That is why we made a plan and killed him and threw the dead body into the canal. The scooty used in the incident has been recovered while arresting the accused Rekha Devi (mother Mritika). The other 2 accused involved in the incident were friends of the deceased. Still absconding, efforts are on to arrest him. The team that successfully disclosed this sensational female assassination has been awarded 15000 by Senior Superintendent of Police Saharanpur. The arresting team included Thana Rampur in-charge Inspector Kuldeep Singh, Sub Inspector Jai Veer Singh, Ajay Prasad Gaur, Ajab Singh, Head Constable Yogendra Singh, Women Constables Rajni, Rahul Yadav and Supin Kumar.
