The courage and strength of Sushil Kumar, who won the Gold Medal twice for India at the Olympics, was shattered as he reached behind bars. Sushil is on police remand at Model Town police station after being arrested in connection with the murder of wrestler Sagar. According to the Model Town police station, Sushil Kumar, his partner Ajay was locked in a lockup as soon as he reached the police station. Sushil started crying bitterly as he went into lock up. Like a common criminal, he was also seated on the floor of the police station. He was crying like a child in front of a police officer. After sitting for half an hour, he was seated in the room of the investigating officer.

Sushil spent the entire night awake in the Crime Branch custody. He even refused to dine. He also cried many times in the night. According to the police, Sushil was asleep for two hours in the early hours. Then he was awakened in the morning for legal process etc. However, Sushil’s partner Ajay was sitting quietly in police custody and he also had food.

It may be noted that Sushil Kumar, the main accused in the wrestler Sagar Dhankhar murder case, was arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police on 23 May. He is currently on remand by the Delhi Police after being produced in the District Court through video conferencing. His partner along with Sushil has also been arrested.

Two-time Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil was absconding in the case for a long time. A lookout notice and non-bailable warrant were also issued against him.

Sushil had filed an anticipatory bail petition to avoid arrest but the court rejected it. After this, two inspectors and a dozen policemen led by Model Town ACP of Delhi went to Punjab in search of them.

Sushil and his companions were traced through mobile tracing. A reward of Rs one lakh was also declared by the police against him. His partner Ajay had a reward of 50 thousand rupees.

Railway whip on wrestler Sushil Kumar, suspended from job

Wrestler Sushil, who was caught in the Sagar murder case, has been suspended from his job. He has been suspended from the job, keeping the investigation of the criminal case going on against Sushil Kumar by Northern Railway. Sushil Kumar, who is on deputation in the Delhi government, was made an officer on special duty to promote sports in the school at the Chhatrasal Stadium.

According to Deepak Kumar, the chief public relations officer of Northern Railway, on Sunday, the Railway Board received a report from Delhi government regarding Sushil Kumar. In which there is a mention of FIR lodged against Sushil Kumar. The Delhi government also rejected Sushil Kumar’s demand to increase deputations. After this, the government had also sent the application to Northern Railway rejecting the deputation. A crime branch team of the Delhi Police is questioning Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar and his colleague Ajay Bakkarwala, the alleged prime accused in the killing of wrestler Sagar, about the incidents at three places in Delhi – Model Town, Shalimar Bagh and Chhatrasal Stadium . According to Delhi Police sources, when the police were interrogating Sushil at these places, he looked nervous and was repeatedly changing his statements.
