Corona in Uttarakhand: Anger among villagers due to Manoj Bajpayee’s arrival for shooting, warning of agitation
Villagers warned that if shooting started in the area, they would be forced to agitate.
The villagers were furious at the reported arrival of Bollywood actor Manoj Vajpayee at a resort in Shitala in Mukteshwar area of Uttarakhand and the team in connection with the shooting of the web series.

People from Shitala, Satkhol and Satola in the area told that hundreds of people from Delhi and Mumbai have reached villages for shooting. There is a fear of outbreak of corona from outsiders arriving in the area.
Said that the administration and police are not listening to the villagers in front of the big people. On one hand, the police is following the Covid curfew with the local people, on the other hand, exemption is being given for shooting. Public representatives alleged that they complained to the Bhawali police that they were threatened.
RTPCR has brought negative reports
People have demanded DM to stop shooting in the area. Bhawali Kotwal Ashutosh Kumar Singh said that the shooting team has permission. They have brought the RTPCR negative report. Said that if people give a complaint in writing, they will investigate. Here, Ramgarh Mandal BJP president Kundan Chilwal said that on this subject, villagers and the administration will be talked about in this matter.
In June last year too, Manoj Bajpayee had reached Almora. He had inquired about the traditional ornaments of Kumaon in a shop here. During this, suddenly there was a crowd of people in the market seeing the film actor. Many people also took selfies with them.
At that time, actor Bajpayee liked traditional Kumaon jewelery. Shop owner Tarun Verma said that he had taken a photo of the traditional jewelery of Kumaon. He appreciated jewellery.
