Yuvraj came forward to help, 1000 beds will be set up in hospitals of many states
YouweCan, the foundation of former international cricketer Yuvraj Singh, announced that it will set up 1,000 beds in various hospitals to take care of COVID-19 patients in India. YouweCan said the initiative will be launched in partnership with OneDigital Entertainment. It aims to strengthen the capacity of government, military, autonomous and charitable service hospitals with the installation of oxygen-equipped beds, ventilators and BiPAP machines and other essential medical equipment required for intensive care of COVID-19 patients. Yuvraj said that the second wave COVID-19 has been devastating. “We have all lost loved ones and watched countless people struggle for oxygen, ICU beds and other essential care facilities,” he said in a statement. I was also very impressed by this and I felt that we should come forward to help our healthcare providers working tirelessly as well as the Central and State Governments. Youvecan has started setting up beds in hospitals in Delhi NCR, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Telangana, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.
