Allopathy controversy: DMA files case against Baba Ramdev, High Court issues summons

The Delhi Medical Association (DMA) has now reached the High Court regarding the objectionable statements of Baba Ramdev who are constantly coming in the Allopathy vs Ayurveda dispute. The DMA has filed a case against Ramdev in the Delhi High Court, urging him to stop making false claims and false statements regarding the Coronil tablet.

The High Court has summoned yoga guru Ramdev on a suit filed by the Delhi Medical Association (DMA) to restrain yoga guru Ramdev from giving false information that Patanjali’s ‘Coronil Kit’ is effective for the treatment of COVID-19.

The court orally asked yoga guru Ramdev’s counsel to not make any provocative statement by the next date of hearing, July 13, and to clarify his stand on the matter.

The DMA, on behalf of the doctors, said that Ramdev’s statement makes an impact as that drug does not cure the corona virus and it is a misleading statement.
