33 percent reservation will be available in medical and engineering colleges
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has made a big announcement for the girl students in Bihar. Especially those girls who are going to study medical and engineering later. Now one-third of the seats will be reserved for girl students within the medical and engineering colleges in the state. According to the government announcement, now Bihari girl students will get 33 percent reservation in all medical and engineering colleges of the state. In a meeting with the officials, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that at least one-third of the seats in engineering and medical colleges should be reserved for girl students. The Chief Minister said that at least one third of the seats in the enrollment in engineering and medical colleges of the state should be reserved for girl students. This will increase the number of girl students. This would be a unique thing. This will further motivate the girl students towards higher and technical education. He said that engineering colleges are being opened in all the districts of the state, many medical colleges have also been opened. Our aim is that the children and girls of Bihar do not have to go out to study engineering and medicine. This will increase the number of girl students. In Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is very conscious about the education of girls. Even during the Bihar assembly elections last year, Nitish Kumar has been continuously mentioning schemes like giving cycles to girl students. Another big step has been taken by the Nitish government to reserve seats for girl students in engineering and medical colleges.
