Dulquer Salmaan to star in R Balki’s psychological thriller film

Dulquer Salmaan, a well-known actor of South Indian films, is a rising artist of Bollywood. He has made his own identity in Bollywood in a very short time. The news was doing rounds for a long time that Dulquer would be seen in the upcoming film of famous director R Balki. Now famous cinematographer PC Shriram has put his stamp on this news. Balki has previously directed a successful film like Padman.
Cinematographer Shriram has told on his official Twitter handle that Balki is going to be seen with him in the film. Sriram wrote in his Twitter post, “My next project will be with Balki, which will also include Dulquer Salmaan. It is a psychological thriller film. I am eagerly waiting for the work to start. According to the news, the shooting of the film will start after the second wave of corona virus subsides.

The makers are contemplating to start the shooting of the film in Mumbai. He will shoot the film in this city during the rainy season. The film’s team may start shooting for the project by the end of July. This is not Dulquer’s first project in Bollywood. Dulquer is working on his third Hindi film with Balki. She has made her acting debut in Caravan (2018) and The Zoya Factor (2019).

Dulquer made his debut in South Indian films with the 2012 film Second Show. Talking about Balki, he made his Bollywood debut as a director in the 2007 film Cheeni Kum. After this he has directed films like Pa and Ki & Ka. He last directed Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s film Mission Mangal.

Dulquer is the son of Malayalam icon Mammootty. Talking about Dulquer’s workfront, he can be seen in many Malayalam films. He is in discussion about his much awaited film Kurup. In this film, he will be seen in the role of underworld don Sukumar Kurup. Apart from this, she will be seen in films like Salute and Hey Shinamika. Hey Shinamika also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari.
