Minister Ganesh Joshi met Union Minister Piyush Goyal

Demand for establishment of “Inland Container Depot (ICD)” in Haridwar,
Dehradun. State’s Industrial Development, MSME and Khadi and Village Industries Minister Ganesh Joshi, during his stay in Delhi, met Union Commerce and Industry and Railways Minister Piyush Goyal at his office in New Delhi. During this, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi has given the benefits of “Industrial Development Scheme – 2017” issued for the industrial development of the state, to continue even after 2022, laboratory testing equipment and quality control equipments for pharma industries in eligible components. To be included, to provide better freight transportation facilities for more than 700 already established industries under Haridwar district and to develop “Inland Container Depot (ICD)” facility and to connect tourist city Mussoorie with rail connectivity on the lines of Shimla. Demanded central cooperation on such proposals. Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi is meeting the central leaders in Delhi these days and advocating for the approval of the schemes of the departments under him. During the Corona transition period, Ganesh Joshi has reached Delhi to meet the central leaders for the first time after becoming a minister in the state government, due to being busy in the corona treatment arrangements as in-charge of the corona treatment arrangements of Dehradun district.
The Industrial Development Minister apprised the Union Minister that the notification of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Industry Promotion and Internal Trade), Government of India, F. No. Industrial Development Scheme-2017 has been approved by the 2 (2) 2018-SPS, dated 23rd April, 2018 to promote industrialization in the state of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Which will be effective till March 31, 2022. Due to the attractive facility of central capital investment subsidy in the said package approved for the state of Uttarakhand, the work of setting up new industries or expansion of their existing enterprises is being done by the industrial establishments in the state.
