Italy reached the knockout after beating Switzerland

Manuel Locatelli scored twice as Italy beat Switzerland 3-0 to reach the knockout rounds of the Euro Cup 2020 football tournament. With this win, Italy became the first team to make it to the knockout rounds of the tournament. Italy will now fight to finish top of Group A in the match against Wales. Wales had earlier defeated Turkey 2-0.

Manuel scored in the first 26th minute to give the team an early lead, as Italy held the lead until the end of the first half.

After this, in the second half, Manuel scored another goal in the 52nd minute to make the team 2-0. In the final moments of the match, Italy’s Kiro Immobil scored in the 89th minute to make the match one-sided.
Switzerland could not level or take the lead by the stipulated time, due to which they had to face defeat.
