The first flight took off with the crew equipped with vaccine armor

Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, has operated the first flight in the country with a fully vaccinated crew. Airlines today informed that the special flight UK963 departed from Delhi at 8.50 am today and reached Mumbai at 11.10 am. All the pilots and cabin crew of this flight have got both the vaccines of Kovid-19. The same crew was also involved in the return flight.

Vistara has claimed that for the first time in the country all the crew members in a flight were fully equipped with ‘vaccine-shield’. She said that she is planning to operate more such flights in future.

Vinod Kannan, Chief Commercial Officer, Vistara said that vaccination is the best way to protect against the pandemic, which is leading to normalcy around the world. Airlines are continuously ensuring vaccination of their employees and their families. This special flight will instill confidence among the people towards air travel.

The company had recently said that it has administered at least the first dose of the vaccine to almost all of its eligible employees.
