Welcoming the proposal of Dream-11, Shri Singh said that the State Government is running all kinds of schemes to nurture sports talent from city to village. He said that it is the priority of the government to encourage sports culture in the state.
He said that in today’s modern era, crores of sports lovers are associated with online sports platform in Uttar Pradesh. A large number of players will be encouraged by Dream-11’s investment in Uttar Pradesh and a person sitting in village and village will also be able to join it easily. Along with this, the government will also get financial benefits through this platform. He also said that after consultation with the Sports and Justice Department of Uttar Pradesh, an appropriate decision would be taken on the proposal of Dream-11.
In the online meeting organized at Khadi Bhawan, Kiran Vivek Nanda, on behalf of Dream-11, explained about the fantasy sports platform in detail through a presentation. He said that the brand ambassador of Dream-11 is cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He said that development of sports culture, promotion of sports participation, contribution to the exchequer and development of local sports like kabaddi, hockey, volleyball and handball would be done under the sports eco-system in Uttar Pradesh.
Shri Singh said that apart from this Dream-11 will also participate in the development of sports infrastructure at the grassroots level. It will help in finding sports talent in far flung areas. Along with this, work will also be done to improve the talent of the players for the Olympics. He also said that along with the development of sports technology startups in Uttar Pradesh, information about sports technology will also be made available to the players.
