Farmers movement is getting full support, will celebrate Hull Kranti Day on June 30

New Delhi : The farmers’ movement on the borders of Delhi is about to complete almost seven months of protests. According to the farmers’ organization SKM, villagers and khaps in local areas are supporting the protesters as much as possible. The Morcha is also providing medical assistance to the local people along with various other types of assistance. SKM has decided to observe 30th June as ‘Hul Kranti Diwas’ on all borders. On that day the members of tribal areas would be invited to the dharna sites.

The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) issued a statement saying, “It has extended its full support to the tribals of village Selagar situated on the border of Sukma and Bijapur districts. who are fighting against the government’s decision to set up CRPF camps in the area. This land comes under the fifth schedule of the constitution and the land is being taken without any referral/decision of the Gram Sabha.

Condemn the police firing on tribals who protested on May 17, in which three tribals died on the spot, an injured pregnant tribal died later, 18 others were injured and 10 are still missing.

On the other hand, SKM has decided to continue the peaceful protest against BJP, JJP leaders in Haryana and oppose the entry of these leaders on June 21.
Besides this, a large contingent of workers of AIKS, AIAWU and CITU from GT Road districts reached Sindhu Seema Morcha today. Similarly, many more protesters are also reaching Ghazipur border and Tikri border places.
