Jammu and Kashmir : 3 terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore
Three terrorists were killed in an encounter that started between terrorists and security forces in Gund Brath area of Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir last night. Those killed included Mudasir Pandit of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, which was involved in civilian killings and attacks on security forces.
Recently Mudasir Pandit, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist involved in the killing of three policemen, two councilors and two civilians and several other terror crimes, was killed in the Sopore encounter.
The exchange of fire between the terrorists and the security forces took place after a joint team of police and army cordoned off the area and launched a search operation based on specific information about the presence of terrorists.
As the security forces reached the spot where the terrorists were hiding, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, triggering an encounter.
