Vikas Nagar : Forest and police personnel planted saplings on Monday at the Dararit barrier along the UP border. During this, to save a big tree from being cut down, its transmutation was also done. During this, apart from planting fruit plants of many species, the personnel of both the departments also planted four peepal trees. On this occasion, Forest Inspector JS Nautiyal said that tree plantation is necessary to save the environment continuously. It is said that there are more benefits than planting fruitful and broad leaf plants. He said that there are different types of wild animals in the forest of Timli range. If the animals get the fruits only in the forests, then they will not come towards the settlements. By which people can be saved from the dangers of animals. During the plantation, the personnel of both the departments also took a pledge to protect it. He also talked about running a campaign to plant more and more trees. On this occasion, outpost in-charge Dharmawala Deepak Maithani and forest worker Ranjit Bisht etc. were also present.
