Uttarakhand / Chamoli : DM did surprise inspection of school, Anganwadi and college arrangements in Bairangana

As long as the schools are closed, it should be ensured to provide quality online education to the children at home: DM

District Magistrate Swati S Bhadauria made a surprise inspection of the arrangements of Primary School, Anganwadi Center and Government Inter College in Bairangana on Wednesday. During this, he took stock of the online and offline reading of the children, e-learning system and the wallpainting works including sports material, musical equipment, furniture etc. made available to the schools. The District Magistrate said that as long as the schools are closed due to Corona epidemic, it should be ensured to provide quality online education to the children at home. He directed that BEOs should join Google Meet classes with at least two schools in a day and assess the quality of online education being imparted to the children. Also, fix the syllabus for 15 days and evaluate it every month. The District Magistrate also directed that all the construction works that have been approved in the schools should be completed in today’s time itself. So that all facilities are available when the school opens. Emphasizing on cleanliness and hygiene in the schools, the District Magistrate directed that the Principal of every school should keep checking the maintenance of the schools from time to time so that the school building is not damaged. The District Magistrate said that soon apart from the drainage of rain water from the tiles and toilets in the primary school rooms, arrangements would also be made for the repair of Anganwadi buildings and solar lights in the Inter College campus. During this, the District Magistrate did wall painting works in the primary school buildings and rooms and provided computers, portal mic systems, dias potwales, water purifiers, fast aid walks, book cells, musical instruments, sports equipment and swings, slips, etc. to the school. Closely inspected the quality. Along with inspecting the Anganwadi, he also took stock of the e-learning system in GIC and inquired about other requirements of the school. Said that all facilities are being provided for the school. During this, the District Magistrate also planted saplings in the school. On this occasion DEO Basic Naresh Kumar Haldayani, BEO LM Tamta, GIC Principal KS Badwal, Spokesperson Manoj Tiwari, Principal of Prof. Chandra Lata etc. were present.
