Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Celebrated the sacrifice day of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee
The sacrifice day of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee was celebrated by the BJP workers of Jagjitpur at booth no. 61 Matrisadan Chowk Vikas Colony, Jagjitpur. Where all the workers present first paid their tributes by paying floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee. After which, addressing the workers, Councilor Manoj Pralia and Councilor Nagendra Rana said that Pt. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee sacrificed his life to tie the country together. He opposed the separation of Kashmir from India. In 1953, Mukherjee was arrested on 11 May for attempting to enter Kashmir illegally and died under suspicious circumstances on 23 June 1953. Regional booth president Sunil Kumar Pal said that in Jammu and Kashmir, Mukherjee vigorously opposed Article 370 and launched a movement. The names of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay are at the top among the heroes of BJP. On this occasion, Amit Walia, Shivam, Laxman Pal, Ashok Pandit, Dr. Mangeram, Neetu Pal, Vipin Pal, Pramod, Gautam, Mehak Pal, Sonu Kashyap, Sunny Parche, Rahul, Sumit etc. were present.
