Utarakhand / Rudrapur : Youth arrested for harassing the girl

The accused, who harassed and defames a young woman of the area by creating a fake ID on Facebook in the name of a youth of Dineshpur area, has been arrested by the police. The accused has been sent to jail after being produced in the court on Friday. A young woman from the area had lodged a complaint with the police station, accusing a person named Vishal Vishwas of harassing her on Facebook, doing obscene talk and threatening to defame her if she did not do so while pressuring her to get married. On the basis of Tahrir, the police started investigating the matter by registering a case under various sections, then prima facie the ID of the accused turned out to be fake. During the investigation of the station in-charge, it was found that the accused was harassing the girl by making a fake ID in the name of Vishal Vishwas. His real name is Umesh Kumar Gangwar and he is a resident of Kapanori Milak District Rampur. He was working in SIDCUL by living in a rented house in Rudrapur. Told that the accused has harassed many young women and women in the past with similar fake IDs. The accused had threatened to kill Subroto Vishwas, a resident of Rudrapur, a resident of Transit Camp, the central president of Bengali Ekta Manch, for trying to uncover the matter. Its case is registered at Transit Camp Rudrapur police station. Said that the section of threatening to kill has been added with the sections of the case registered in Dineshpur police station. At present the accused has been sent to jail.
