Rise in precious metals
Gold and silver also registered an increase in the domestic market today on the strength of the rise in precious metals at the international level. In the international market, gold rose by 0.72 percent to $ 1787.90 an ounce. US gold futures were up 0.59 per cent at $1786 an ounce. During this, silver spot was up by 1.19 percent at $ 26.07 an ounce.
In the country’s largest futures market MCX, gold rose by Rs 300 to 47170 per 10 grams. During this, gold mini rose by Rs 284 to Rs 46976 per 10 grams. Silver was up by Rs 600 to Rs 68339 per kg and Silver Mini rose by Rs 6591 to Rs 69487 per kg.
