Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary’s tenure extended by 3 months
The Central Government has accepted the request of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to extend the tenure of Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das for three more months. Kuldeep Choudhary, Under Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, said, “I have been directed to give the approval of the Central Government for extension of service to Das.”
Das, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1987 batch, was to retire on June 30 but will hold the post for the next three months till September 30. Reddy had written to the Center requesting an extension on May 17.
