The accused of demanding money by making a fake Facebook ID of state Director General of Police Ashok Kumar was arrested after 12 days of hard work. DIG STF Nilesh Anand on Sunday informed about the arrest of the accused who demanded money by creating fake Facebook ID of DGP. He told that by sending friend requests to people through IDs, money was being demanded from them through Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm etc. On investigation by the police, it was found that the mobile from which the said wallet is running is operating in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Whose ID is in the name of Ramlakhan resident Bhageli, Police Station Nukumpur, District Lakhimpur Kheri, UP. The team reached the said village. It was learned that a few days ago a team had come there to make digital cards of people below the poverty line. He took signature, thumb impression etc. on the machine. When the IP address of Facebook ID was extracted, it turned out to be of Bharatpur district of Rajasthan. The person who was running through Sher Mohammad’s SIM had died. It was found that Sher Mohammad’s son-in-law Irshad son Majid resident of Kaltharia, Juruhera, District Bharatpur is involved in cheating money by making fake Facebook ID. It also includes his brother Arshad alias Sajid. ATF caught Sher Mohammad’s son Zahid. He told that he and his brother-in-law have met in the fraud. The other two fled the village. Irshad returned to his village via Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Who was caught from his village. At the same time, his brother Sajid has been arrested from Saharanpur railway station on Sunday. Both the main accused arrested are 12th pass. The DIG has congratulated STF SSP Ajay Singh and his team on the arrest.
