Himachal Pradesh / Sirmaur : Nine killed, two critical as pickup falls
9 people died on the spot and 2 were seriously injured due to the accident of a pickup on Bakras Road of Paonta Sahib Shillai.
According to the information, a major road accident has come to the fore in Shillai sub-division of Sirmaur. Here a pickup vehicle returning from the procession has crashed. In which 9 youths aged around 18 to 22 years were killed on the spot.
Only one has died, while two are seriously injured. Those who have been taken to Paonta Sahib Hospital for treatment. It is being told that this pickup vehicle has crashed near Koti Uttau Kainchi on Timbi Milla contact road. A total of 11 people were in the car, in which 9 youths have died on the spot. While 2 youths are seriously injured, who have been taken to the civil hospital for treatment.
It is being told that the car was returning from Bhatudi to Chadeu with a procession, when suddenly Koti Uttau fell into a deep gorge near the scissors. Confirming the matter, DSP Paonta Sahib Veer Bahadur said that the accident took place near the pickup Pashog. So far the bodies of 9 people have been recovered. All the information is being collected.
