Uttar Pradesh / Lucknow : Pharmacists protest in front of selection commission for appointment

Pharmacists staged a one-day protest in front of the UP Subordinate Selection Commission office regarding the appointment. Told that about 2 months ago, 420 candidates who passed in the release issued by the Subordinate Services Selection Board staged a big protest in front of the commission on Monday demanding the release of the final selection list. President of Pharmacist Federation Sunil Yadav told that 420 pharmacists selected from all over the state gheraoed. Told that during the talks of the Controller of Examinations of Pharmacists and the Secretary, Subordinate Services Selection Board, it was told that financial verification would be done within 1 week to 10 days, after which the assurance was given to continue the selection process. Pharmacists said that more than 500 posts of pharmacists are vacant in homeopathic dispensaries, hospitals and medical colleges of the state, the selected pharmacists are upset due to non-issuance of selection list on 420 posts by the Subordinate Services Selection Board even after taking all action. Addressed people including Akanksha, Naveen, Vivek Pal, Abhishek Yadav, Prashant, Ranjit, Dileep, Ajit in this dharna. Pharmacists say that in view of the need of health workers, there has been a demand to hand over the selection list to the department immediately. Yadav said that even after the completion of all the formalities, the selection list has not yet been handed over to the Homeopathic Department, due to which the appointment letter is not being issued. Said that in a way there is shortage of human resource in the medical department. The posts are there they should be filled immediately.
