Kakori : The condition of the roads in the capital Lucknow has started deteriorating in the initial phase of rains. Even before the monsoon rains are yet to come, the roads are turning into rivers in the slightest rain. The situation is similar to that of Majara Paan Kheda of Shivri, village assembly of Kakori area, where even in light rain, all the water gets filled on the roads.

On one hand, while Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is very active about the pothole-free road campaign, the contractor officers and employees of PWD are seen throwing water on his intention. The road leading to village Pan Kheda in Kakori area was constructed by PWD 2 years ago. The first year was cut off like this, but as soon as the second rains came, big and deep potholes have become everywhere in the entire road. Due to the lack of cleanliness of the drains in the village and due to the bad drains, all the water of the village comes on the main road, due to which the road gets waterlogged, due to which the people of the village are facing a lot of problems, due to which the village There is a lot of resentment among the people. Villagers say that the contractors and officials of PWD used low quality materials in the pursuit of earning money, due to which the roads built in the village do not last more than a year. Now it remains to be seen whether such roads are noticed by the authorities or this too is left to Ram trust.

On talking to the village head Ram Naresh Rajput, he told that the said road comes under PWD, its beautification work belongs to PWD and not ours.
