Uttar Pradesh : ‘Mission Oxygen’ on war footing in 80 hospitals: Bhoos Reddy

The installation of oxygen generators for the supply of oxygen to the corona patients in Uttar Pradesh was done by the District Magistrate of the concerned district in the state in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer. Huh. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 80 hospitals have been selected by 75 district magistrates, which mostly include community health centers adjoining rural and urban areas. In such a situation, arrangements have been made to provide oxygen at a total of 3250 beds in the Excise and Sugar Industry and Sugarcane Development Department in the state. Giving detailed information, Additional Chief Secretary Excise and Sugarcane Development Sanjay R Bhusreddy said that the industrial units of both the departments are being installed on a war footing by purchasing 80 Oxygen Generator Plants from the CSR funds. With the joint effort of Excise and Sugar Industry and Sugarcane Development Department, one community health center or district hospital each has been selected through 33 units of excise department and through 47 sugar mills. Oxygen is being supplied by the State Government through these Oxygen Generators. 15 percent of the state’s oxygen is being provided through the Oxygen Plant set up by the Excise and Sugar Industry and Sugarcane Development Department. Bhoosreddy said that two hospitals each have been selected in Bareilly, Gorakhpur and Sitapur, Shamli, Kushinagar, Amroha. Where the availability of internal pipeline of oxygen supply has been ensured by installing Oxygen Generators. Where oxygen is being provided by the department to two trauma centers and one PHC, including 6 district hospitals of the state.
