Uttarakhand / Roorkee : SSP inspected the accident affected areas

Regarding the accident on the highway, the SSP, along with the traffic team, inspected the accident-affected areas and instructed to improve them. Apart from NHAI, RTO has been instructed to repair the cut made on the highway, install lights and CCTV cameras. On Monday, SSP Senthil Avudai jointly inspected the accident prone places (black spots) of Narsan Border and National Highway of Bhagwanpur via Bahadarabad to Roorkee. In which Superintendent of Police Traffic Pradeep Rai, CO Traffic Bijendra Dutt Doval, CO Mangalore Pankaj Gairola, CO Roorkee, Traffic Inspector Roorkee, RTO and NHAI officials were involved. Police officers found some shortcomings in the recently built highway. In which the cut has been made bigger in many places, and in some places the cut has been made incorrectly. The SSP has asked the NHAI officials to re-make several cuts during the inspection. Along with this, he has also given instructions to install adequate lighting around the cut. Instructions have also been given to install railings on the highway at many places.
