Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : One arrested with four boxes of liquor

Kotwali police has arrested a youth with four boxes of country liquor. Kotwal Shishupal Singh Negi said that the police has launched a campaign to curb the sale of liquor illegally. Under this, intensive checking is being done at various places. During checking, the police team stopped a scooter rider near Old Chungi on Haridwar Road. On search, four boxes of country-made liquor were recovered from him. He has been identified as Rakesh Singh son of Chinmtu Ram resident of Tanda Hasangarh Khedi, Shikohpur police station Buggawala, Haridwar. A case has been registered against the accused by seizing the two wheeler.
