Mrunal Thakur left John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate

Mrunal Thakur has managed to leave her mark in the film industry in a very short span of time. Mrunal made her Bollywood debut in the year 2018 with the film Love Sonia. After performing brilliantly in this film, he started getting offers for films. Now in an interview, the actress has revealed that she had turned down the offer of John Abraham’s Satyamev Jayate to work in the film Super 30.

Mrunal reveals how she left John’s Satyamev Jayate for Super 30. Mrunal said, after I had signed Super 30, I met Nikhil Advani. He called me and said that he had seen my film Love Sonia at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and liked my work. He called me for Milap Zaveri’s Satyamev Jayate.

Mrunal told that she could not do this film as she had signed Super 30. He said, when the shooting of Super 30 was over, Nikhil called me for another film. It was Batla House for which I was not even auditioned. At that time I realized that I have achieved something in life. Batla House was directed by Nikhil in which Mrunal was in the lead role.
Mrunal told that the team of Super 30 was not aware that she had worked in Love Sonia. She said, “When I read the script of the film, I started crying. I loved Shakuntala Devi very much, so I felt that through Super 30 I would probably be able to connect with mathematics in some way or the other. When I read the script and I had nothing to do with maths, I was disappointed.

Super 30 was the biopic of mathematician Anand Kumar, which hit the big screen in 2019. Hrithik Roshan played the character of Anand in this film. Satyamev Jayate was released on August 15, 2018 starring John and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead roles.

Talking about Mrunal’s work front, she will be seen in many films. He is in discussion about Ishaan Khatter’s film Pippa. Raja Krishna Menon’s directorial venture Pippa was announced in August last year. Apart from this, soon she will also be seen in the film Jersey with Shahid Kapoor. Mrunal will be seen in Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra’s Toofan and Umesh Shukla’s Aankh Micholi.
