BCCI’s domestic season to start from September 21

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the return of domestic cricket for the 2021–22 season and the season will begin with the Senior Women’s ODI League from 21 September 2021. This will be followed by the Senior Women’s ODI Challenger Trophy from October 27.

The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will begin on October 20 and the final will be played on November 12. The Ranji Trophy, which was canceled last season due to Corona, will be played in a three-month window from November 16 to February 19.

The Vijay Hazare Trophy will be played from 23 February 2022 to 26 March 2022.
A total of 2127 home matches will be played this season in different age groups in men’s and women’s categories. The BCCI exuded confidence that the safety of players and other stakeholders will be the topmost priority in the domestic season.
